Introduction

The blood and plasma donation programme aimed to address the critical need for blood & plasma in our community and contribute to the well being of those in medical suffering. The event was open to the public, and we collaborated with Australia Red Cross LIfeblood to ensure a seamless and efficient donation process.

ICTB Create blood donation team as per organisation name and who ever donating can nominate the ITCB team.

Objectives

The donation was made with the intention of supporting people those who need help.Discover Inner Peace: Experience the power of mindfulness meditation in a serene and supportive environment. Thripitaka Exploration: Delve into the ancient teachings of the Thripitaka, the core scriptures of Theravada Buddhism, with our expert instructors.

    • Facilitate Open Dialogue:
      • Encourage participants to share their thoughts, questions, and experiences related to Buddhism. Also teaching to participants about Buddha teaching and about Suttra deshana from Thripitaka books.
    • Extend Understanding:
      • Provide opportunities for participants to extend their understanding of Buddhist teachings through group discussions and shared insights.
    • Build Community:
      • Foster a sense of community among participants, creating connections and a supportive network for spiritual growth.
    • Wisdom Teachings
    • The significance of Prajna (wisdom) in Buddhism
    • Understanding the nature of reality through wisdom
    • Emphasis on experiential realization
    • Ethical Principles
      • The importance of ethical conduct in Buddhism
      • The Five Precepts and their deep meaning
      • Connection between ethical living and spiritual progress
    • The Path of Compassion
      • The role of compassion (Karuna) in Buddhism
      • Bodhisattva ideal and the path of the compassionate warrior

Will conduct each week and during the weekday selected sessions.

Schedule

The program will consist of bi-weekly discussion sessions held on [specify days and times]. Each session will focus on a specific topic with ample time for open conversation and questions.

This program is open to individuals of all levels of experience with Buddhism. The primary target audience includes those interested in exploring and discussing Buddhist principles in a group setting.

Hall booking charges- paid by the ICTB

Refreshment and transport- arrange by the community

Sounds and communication equipment’s- Provide by the ICTB

Other expenses- provide by the community
